    About this project

    Proietta Benelux contributed to Luminate Lichtfestival Hasselt 2024, a distinctive light experience in the Japanese Garden in Hasselt. The festival brought together Japanese culture, nature and light art in an atmospheric evening walk through the garden.

    With creative light projections and additional light installations, we helped transform the Japanese setting into an enchanting experience. Using gobo projectors, we projected sakura blossoms among other imagery, and created blue Japanese-style clouds inspired by traditional kumo motifs.

    By carefully tailoring light, colour and projection technology to the surroundings, we enhanced the atmosphere and Japanese character of the location. The result was impressive: the light festival attracted no fewer than 24.000 visitors in 10 days.
