ROERMONDVOL Licht: video mapping on Roermond's historic town hall

For the City of Roermond, Proietta Benelux delivered an impressive video mapping production on the historic town hall as part of ROERMONDVOL Licht. For an entire month, the historic façade came to life with a visual story about the sun and moon.

The project combined the town hall's distinctive architecture with specially designed animations and immersive imagery. This turned the building into the backdrop for a unique audiovisual experience in the city.

From creative concept to complete delivery

Proietta Benelux coordinated the entire creative and technical process from A to Z. Our Italian designers developed custom video mapping content, tailored to the building and the production's story.

In addition to content creation, we also handled the on-site installation, technical delivery and servicing throughout the project. This allowed the entire process — from creative design to operational support — to be managed by a single specialist partner.

Professional projection, protected from the elements

Two powerful video projectors, each rated at 20.000 ANSI lumens, were used for this production. To allow safe outdoor use throughout the month-long installation, the projectors were housed in our F40 outdoor protective enclosures.

These enclosures provide a protected environment for compatible video projectors and are designed for professional outdoor installations. The integrated climate control helps keep conditions inside the enclosure within the intended limits, according to the specifications of the version used.

The combination of powerful projectors, protected equipment and custom-designed content made it possible to showcase the historic town hall for a month.
